I REST MY CASE.
Anyone who frequents the official Bennetts British Superbike Championship
website and particularly the rather lively forum on there will have seen
both me and Racer Magazine coming in for some criticism as of late.
Personal vendettas and green-eyed monsters apart, there have been lots of
comments on there, some very positive and relevant, and some simply and
totally unworkable. What's more, unlike a lot of people seem to think, like
each and every letter and e-mail that comes in, I personally read them all,
and take on board their comments, whether valid and ludicrous.

He was transferred to the Royal London hospital but later died from his injuries, with his family by his side.
