If you’ve ever dreamed of riding a Ducati 1198 round Monza, alongside Troy Bayliss, now is your chance! Ducati are hosting a number of track days in Italy throughout the 2011 season and Bayliss is one of the instructors.
The Ducati Riding Experience has an impressive array of options. There are basic bike control classes for beginners using the Monster 796, Riding 1 and Riding 2 sessions on the 848 Evo for riders who want to learn and improve their on-track performance, and Master classes on the 1198 for fast, experienced track riders. At the top of the scale (and the price list!) is the Troy Bayliss Academy. At 2000 Euros for the day, this last option is not cheap but because the class is limited to four students at a time, you are assured of individual attention from the man himself.
Ducati have promised that top quality instructors will be on hand at every level of training and the list includes champions from national, European and World competitions and the overall package sounds good – Ducati provide the bike, the track, the instruction – all you need to do is get to Italy!
With the calendar of events including Monza in July and Mugello in June and September you can bet on an awesome atmosphere and hot sunny weather. Tempted?
