The Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing team is busy preparing for a full schedule of racing this weekend at Brands Hatch, with a BSB triple-header on the cards for Josh Brookes. The Australian is currently in sixth place in the Championship standings, and coming off the back of consecutive podiums, he’ll be going all out to get that elusive first win of the season and secure his place in the top six places for the Showdown
In the Supersport class, Alastair Seeley is looking to put the disappointment of Oulton Park behind him. Although his third finish place put him on the podium for the ninth time this season, the Ulsterman lead into the final turn, only to get mugged on the line. Despite this disappointment, he’s still in second place overall.
Brookes said: “With Hopper going really strong on the world scene we’ve got to try and beat him now and the rest will look after itself. As much as I was jealous to see him out there, it shows we have a good motorbike in the Suzuki GSX-R1000 and it actually gave me encouragement, showing we are racing in a very strong championship in BSB.”
