John Hopkins leads the race for the British Superbike Championship title, after an enthralling day of racing at Silverstone.
Hopper won race one, despite being in agony due to a hand injury, he managed to fend off the challenge from Swan Yamaha pair, Michael Laverty and Tommy Hill.
In race two however, it was a different story, as Josh Brookes stormed through the field to take a thrilling victory and keep his championship hopes alive. Tommy Hill again took his place on the podium, just pipping Hopkins at the post for second place.
That means that going in to the final round, Hopkins leads Hill by 8 points, Brookes is 33 behind Hill and Shane Bryne and Michael Laverty are both just 3 points behind that. With three races due to take place at Brands Hatch and 75 points up for grabs, anything could still happen.
